Held every 2 years with cutting edge science and an exciting line-up of expert speakers, you will learn about the latest updates on developing technologies, clinical applications, and practical solutions in child neurology

EPNS Research Meeting

Held every two years, alternating with the EPNS Congress. Enabling researchers in various fields of Paediatric Neurology to meet colleagues in the same field to facilitate collaboration, and to foster the building of research networks.

EPNS Training Courses

Join our training courses around Europe. The EPNS has a programme of training courses offering the opportunity to learn about paediatric neurology at a level prescribed by the Syllabus of the EPNS where you will meet experts in the field to exchange knowledge and personal experience. One initiative is the ‘3-year cycle’ of training courses

The EPNS Exam

Aimed at qualified physicians with at least 2 years of training in Paediatric Neurology: from trainees/residents to senior registered Paediatric Neurologists who currently work in a major commitment in the field of paediatric neurology and would like to retest their knowledge. Achieving a pass in the EPNS Exam is an excellent personal goal in this area of specialised medicine.

EPNS Educational Webinars, Case Discussions & Journal Clubs

FREE  60–90-minute webinars on topics of key interest to Child Neurologists usually on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 17:00h CET. Members have access to a full library of all previous webinars on the EPNS Moodle.

The EPNS Moodle

New for 2023! An easily accessible educational platform the EPNS Moodle supports all EPNS training and education activities with resources stored to support the EPNS Exam and Training Guide, such as EPNS training course recordings, etc.

EPNS Masterclass

Takes place at Cambridge University, UK: every 2 years and addresses the dilemmas of practice in 21st Century; stimulating ‘view beyond one’s own nose’ – discussions beyond the textbooks. For senior mentoring clinicians and the (young) leaders of tomorrow.

EPNS Fellowships

To create excellence by offering the financially supported opportunity for further qualification or experience in an area of paediatric neurology in terms of clinical practice or research.

EPNS Visiting Teachers

A volunteer professor / senior/ distinguished member of the EPNS, from Europe who is a recognised expert in a certain field, visits a nominated host centre in a country in Europe which is classified by the World Bank per capita income group 1, 2 or 3, or EPNS category WB4B for a short stay of intense teaching. Travel and stay will be supported by EPNS.

EPNS/MacKeith Press Online Learning Courses

Principles of Child Neurology in Infancy & Clinical Practice of Child Neurology in Infancy. Covering topics reflecting most recent developments in the field. The reflective activities stimulate thoughts about organization and structure in paediatric neurology practice / country.

The European Journal of Paediatric Neurology (EJPN)

If you are young and a member of EPNS, you are warmly welcome to participate in the ongoing activities. Membership is open to all paediatric neurologists or trainees and colleagues in related fields. There are substantially discounted EPNS membership fees for trainees and it is very easy to join; all you need to do is complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

Membership rates have been substantially reduced for trainees and for colleagues from certain countries after completion of training. It’s easy to join the EPNS!
