The EPNS Scientific and Research Committee together with the Young EPNS (YEPNS) are hosting the EPNS Journal Club in the shape of interactive webinars discussing selected articles of key interest to Child Neurologists on the 4th Wednesday of every other month at 17:00h CET.
Each Journal Club will be broadcast live via the Zoom Webinar platform for approximately 40 to 60 minutes.
Covering the tools and techniques to understand and appraise the latest publications, the webinars will be informative and interactive.
Available for FREE to both EPNS members and non-members, all are welcome.

This Journal Club will discuss a contemporary diagnostic approach to children presenting with unexplained global developmental delay (UGDD) in the pediatric neurology outpatient setting. Using the recent study by Veronese et al. as a framework, we will review the diagnostic yield of genetic testing, neuroimaging, and metabolic investigations, and examine how evolving genetic technologies are reshaping diagnostic algorithms. The session will focus on practical decision-making, cost-effectiveness, and how to tailor investigations based on clinical presentation, aiming to support child neurologists in optimizing evaluation strategies for UGDD in everyday practice.
