EPNS at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly

We are proud to share that Professor Sameer Zuberi represented the EPNS and European Brain Council (EBC) at the recent United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80) in New York.

Professor Zuberi participated in the Gates Foundation’s prestigious Goalkeepers event and contributed to high-level discussions at the UN Headquarters on integrating brain health into the United Nations’ strategy on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). As part of the UNGA Brain Health Summit, he also spoke on the topic ‘Brain Health Across the Lifespan’, placing a spotlight on the need to raise global awareness of Childhood Dementia.
