Fields of clinical and research interest

  • Introduction of Botulinum Toxin therapy for children in Germany
  • Introduction of sonography-guided injections of Botulinum Toxins
  • Research to developmental issues and motor development by neurophysiological methods (transcranial magnetic stimulation) and imaging techniques (MRI/ DTI-MRI)
  • Initiation and conduction of large clinical and patient-centered clinical research in cooperation, e.g. with the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, foundations and partners from the pharmaceutical industry
  • Evidence based approach to Epilepsy, Movement disorders (cerebral palsy and dystonia), headache
